How does a mirror fog up?
A mirror fogs when warm moist air meets cooler glass. Water vapour from a shower cools when it touches the mirror. It condenses into tiny droplets that scatter light, making the reflection cloudy. Warming the mirror or moving dry air across it clears the fog.
