How does a bike pump push air into tyres?
Because a bike pump squeezes air and lets valves send it only one way. Pulling the handle draws air into the pump's chamber. Pushing it back in squeezes that air tight, forcing it through a valve and into the tyre, which then holds it firmly inside.
