Why do stickers leave sticky marks?
Stickers leave marks when some adhesive stays behind instead of peeling away. Adhesive is designed to flow into tiny surface gaps. Over time, heat and pressure can make it grip more strongly than the sticker backing. When peeled, the backing lifts but some glue remains.
