How do stadiums empty thousands of people without everyone getting stuck?
Stadiums are designed with many exits, wide paths and crowd flow in mind. A stadium does not rely on one giant doorway. It uses lots of stairs, aisles, gates and corridors spread around the seating bowl. Designers calculate how many people can pass through each route and where crowds might slow down.
