Why does a shower curtain move towards you?

A shower curtain moves inward because running water drags nearby air into motion and changes the pressure around the curtain. When shower water falls, it pulls air along with it and creates swirling movement inside the shower space. That moving air can lower the air pressure slightly on the wet side of the curtain compared with the bathroom side. The stronger outside air pressure then pushes the curtain inward.
