Why are Uranus's rings so difficult to see?
Because the rings are narrow, dark and reflect very little sunlight. Uranus does have rings, but most contain dark particles that are not very shiny. They are also much narrower and less massive than Saturn's bright main rings. From far away, the faint rings can disappear into the darkness around the planet.
