Why is Moon dust so sharp and clingy?
Because it is made without rain or wind smoothing its grains and becomes electrically charged. On Earth, moving water and air wear many grains down. The Moon has almost none, so impact-shattered dust stays jagged. Sunlight and the space environment can also charge particles, helping the fine dust cling stubbornly to spacesuits and equipment.
