How do we know dinosaurs built nests?
Fossilised eggs have been found arranged in carefully organised nesting sites. Some fossil sites contain eggs placed in rings, rows or shallow nests rather than scattered randomly. Scientists have also discovered adults preserved near nests, providing strong evidence that many dinosaurs deliberately chose and prepared nesting areas.
