History & Time

Why did dinosaurs dominate Earth for so long?

They repeatedly adapted as environments changed around them. Dinosaurs survived for more than 160 million years and evolved into predators, giants, runners and feathered forms. Their ability to occupy many different ecological roles helped them persist through enormous changes in climate and geography.
