What Into Why is

Into Why is a curated library of short, illustrated answers to the questions kids ask -- "wonder cards." A set of cards is always free to read at Free Wonders. The rest of the library is free to browse today and may move to a paid plan in the future; if that happens, we'll be upfront about which parts require a plan.

A note on how our content is made

Every wonder card starts from a real question kids ask, and is written and illustrated with the help of AI tools. We review each card for tone, age-appropriateness, and clarity before it's published. Even so, AI-assisted content can be simplified, incomplete, occasionally mistaken, or reflect a subjective choice of words -- the same way any single explanation of a big topic can. Into Why is meant to spark curiosity and give a helpful starting answer, not to serve as an authoritative source on medical, safety, legal, scientific, or other specialist matters. For anything important -- health, safety, or decisions that matter -- please check with a qualified professional or a primary source. If you spot something that looks wrong, we want to know: use Add to the library or contact us and we'll take a look.

Who this is for

Into Why is designed for children to explore with a parent, caregiver, or teacher nearby, and for the adults in their lives to browse directly. We don't require an account or any personal information to read the free content.

Accounts and future plans

We may introduce optional accounts or paid plans in the future to unlock more of the library. If we do, we'll set out any additional terms for those features at that time.

If you submit a question to us

When you use "Add to the library" to suggest a question, you're giving us permission to use, adapt, and publish it (or a version of it) as a wonder card, without any obligation to use every submission or to credit the submitter individually.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the site to submit anything abusive, unlawful, or intended to harm others.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or interfere with how the site runs.
• Don't misrepresent wonder cards as being written or verified by a licensed professional.

Intellectual property

The Into Why name, logo, and the wonder cards themselves belong to Into Why. You're welcome to read, share, and link to individual cards for personal or educational use; please don't republish the library wholesale or claim it as your own.

No warranty

Into Why is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it accurate, safe, and available, but we don't guarantee the content is error-free or that the site will always be up. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for how the content is used or relied upon.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
